Sir,
In reply to your letter of date I beg to annex telegraphic advices received by this Bank between the 1st of July and the 10th instant about Mexican Dollars and Bar Silver.
I may remark that intrinsically Dollars are 11/16 per oz. less valuable than Bar Silver, their fineness being 902.7 against a fineness of 925 for Bar Silver.
